Would you ever get an LFC tattoo?

I'm thinking of getting "Inked up" and am looking for a boss Liverpool tattoo to get. I saw some bloke with the current crest, in full colour, on his arm the other day. Fucking ridiculous looking. I'm thinking of 5 stars starting on the back of my neck running to my back with 77, 78, 81, 84, 05 inside them in red. In this style :

 

 

Or else a simple Liverbird with a single flame beside it, like the "new crest" that was doing the rounds before the first Adidas kit, on my wrist.

 

Anybody out there got a LFC tattoo or want to get one?

I wouldn't and don't begrudge anyone who has tats but I find people with loads of tats silly.

 

For me, the only tatted up people should be in the Service or Prison.

Got a Liverbird with 5 gold stars over the top and a shadow of big ears in the background.

 

Got it done a year ago,on lower part of leg.Well pleased with it,but wouldnt consider getting anymore.

 

I say go for it,it was something id wanted to do for ages,but was always petrified of the thought of the needle!Wasnt that bad actually.

Thinking of getting the Liver bird with L.F.C. underneath, like on the 80's and 70's kits around the same size to.Nice and plane and not to in your face like the current crest.Seen a few of them and they just don't seem to work as a tattoo for me.

I've got the full crest,in colour, on my upper arm and it looks great. So fuck off. Oh and by the way, shit arm, bad tattoo.

get something in a place not visible to everyone for your first tat you can then get used to having it. maybe something a bit more creative than a star

Got one on my upper left arm. Got the liverbird and LFC wrote underneath it.

 

Got it nearly 10 years ago now when I was 16 and i can honestly say I dont regret it at all.

 

I would say that with it being part of a badge its not subject to fashion really unlike other tatoos.

Don't have any tattoos myself, but I think if you are going to get one, that would be fairly original. Make sure you leave room for a few more stars, though...

Had mine done in 97. full badge. had it re-coloured in 2007, as it had faded a bit, and added the 5 stars underneath.

 

Entirely up to the individual. Some take the moral high ground saying it looks bad. absolute bollocks. if you want one then get it.

ive the liverbird wit lfc printed under , on my my upper left arm . got it over ten years ago an have never or will never regret it .

id say if yr thinking of it , just do it . way i look at it is , its a lifetime thing but its not as if your ever gonna change teams .........

I got the old style crest on my left arm about 8 years ago, I am very happy with it and I looks great. I went for the old style crest because I thought it would be much easier for the tattooist to do, less chance of him ballsing it up.
