FM 2008 Network Game Anyone?

Ok well the easiest way to do this is to simply put your name down on the list.

 

You must have the 8.0.2 patch (the official update with all the january signigns on). If you dont then pm and I will look for a link for you to download it.

 

Also I find the best way to communicate is msn, so everyone will need to have or create a hotmail account, this way we know when everyone is online and ready to play. The maximum number of players IMO should be 6. Maybe 8 if there is a big interest.

I have hamachi on my laptop. It depends on the hosts connection really mate. We can all use it if we want. I was lucky enough in the last game I had to have a host with a great connection so there was no need to use it. However certain people can only host if they use hamachi so we are best waiting and seeing what everyone else has.

OK, no problem. Never used hamachi myself, never really had to, though like I said earlier, it has ben a while since I played a network game, so didn't need to worry about static IP and all that at that time.

Yep. I have the Mac version tho. Hope that isn't a problem.

Haven't tried a network game for a while but played in the old TLW one. The game has to be set up with no fixtures moved for tv, the smallest transfer datebase etc, otherwise it drag terribly.

The two jobs are until September..ish. Then Im going to quit the evening one and keep the daytime one.
