Thank fuck for that. Got a stream back on for the last 10 minutes but really annoyed with Sopcast today. Never really had a problem with it before until today.

 

The fourty minutes or so that I did see today was shite to be fair. We looked sloppy as fuck but i'm not arsed as long as we won! Performances need to better over the next few weeks but i'm sure that will be the case.

We were way too casual today and i know one lad has posted he was impressed by Aurellio but i thought both full backs were guilty of holding onto the ball too much and been wasteful in possesion.

 

Bikay is one of the worst proffesional footballers i have seen and it was good to see Gerrard not bottle it and stand up to the useless cunt.

 

Skrtel was solid in defence but i though Carras reading of the game today was immense. He picked up any loose ball and cut out numerous through balls.

 

Great for Mascherano to get a goal and for Torres to break the 20 league goal mark but for me it was an instantly forgetable match but we got the three points which is all that matters.

Babel needs to work on his first touch too, a number of times he go the ball caught under him or he knocked the ball too far in front of him, where if he'd had a more cushioned first touch, he might have set up a goal scoring chance.

Agreed. Babel was good in the first along with the chief. The others seemed switched off. Babel was our most dangerous player in the second as well, but after the hour mark he just fizzles out. He certainly needs to work on his stamina. Carra and Skrtl was good in the middle, but I feel both full backs were very sloppy at times today.

 

The positives today were the three points and the chief of the mark.
