If you can deal with subtitles its a better film. No humour like you get from Nicholas but a pretty gritty film.

 

Subtitles would be better than Ray Winstone's attempt at a Boston accent.

 

Having said that, so would having your ears pulled off by rabid dogs.

Yeah I don't mind subtitles. I'll get on it, you aren't the first person to recommend it. 

 

Winstones accent in that film is laughable but that aside he plays a decent role. Nicholson makes it though. One scary motherfucker in that.

One of Kevin Costner's most famous roles was playing the DA Jim Garrison in JFK, who tries to debunk the Warren Commission's report into the assassination of the President as part of the trial of New Orlean's businessman Clay Shaw, thought to be part of a wider conspiracy. In the film, the real Jim Garrison makes an appearance as Earl Warren, the chairman of the Warren Commission.
