Reports that the killed escaped hostages were shirtless and carrying a makeshift white flag but were still shot when one of the soldiers nearby shouted “terrorists.”

 

Two killed instantly. One injured and hid in a nearby building and called for help in Hebrew. A ceasefire order was given but more shots were fired into the building. 
 

Looks like a monumental fuck up by the IDF. And raises serious questions about whether they’ve shown this level of incompetence on other occasions, killing innocent civilians in the process?

Technically they where terrorists in the eyes of the IDF. They have labelled anyone that hasn't moved to a certain location a terrorist.

This shooting of two unarmed women in a church, plus the killing of 3 unarmed civilians clearly showing that they were no threat has shown everyone what completely out of control murderous animals the IDF are. 
 

An absolutely disastrous day for the murderers, from a PR perspective.

Reading something similar with the three former hostages: two killed by a sniper, he also shot the third, who fled and was finished off by a squad of soldiers.

 

What are the terms of engagement: "kill anything that moves"?

I see, too, that someone was arrested for displaying a Union flag at the pro-Palestinian demo in London today. Rightly so, IMO, even though it created a shitstorm on right-wing Twitter, as it was obviously a provocative act designed to cause unrest, exactly the same reason, I would guess, why someone displaying a Palestinian flag was arrested in Manchester this week at a vigil of the dead Israelis, even though it caused a shitstorm on left-wing Twitter.
