Hope that settles the perineal question of whether Minamino should stay or go. Boy has finally arrived and we just saw the Minamino that played us in the Champions League with Red Bull a few years back.

Barse.

@Caramac probably a bit late for this, but have you got that bit on 51 minutes where Joe Gomez snuffed out a Norwich counter-attack by sprinting at road-runner speed across the pitch, then back-heeling the ball to Millie?

It was a moment to remind me that there ain't nobody like Joe Gomez.

Neither Gomez nor Konaté were at fault. Elliott gave the ball away; Ox switched off and lost his man. Everyone else did their job.

There is a fair argument for there being not enough pressure on the ball. Whose responsibility that was will have no doubt been discussed among the coaches and players on Thursday morning.

Ladies and gentlemen, our fourth-choice centre-back who can barely get a game.

I've never known a squad like this. The first XI is packed with genuinely world-class talent, but when fringe players have to fill in for them the drop-off is anything but precipitous.

This is his problem, great pace, strong and athletic but the one most likely to lose concentration or make a silly mistake. He also has his fair share of injuries. It's hard to keep a regular place if those are your weaknesses, especially in such a great team despite being a top player yourself.
