Hendo is playing the best he’s done since our last title challenge, him getting sent off v City and missing ‘that’ Chelsea game was a massive miss. Fab and Hendo should be the 1st 2 mids on the team sheet for the remainder.

He's had a couple of good performances on the spin and  all of a sudden some folks are creaming themselves as if he's played like Souness / Molby / Gerrard all rolled together.

 

FWIW I though VVD was head and shoulders easily the best pplayer on the pitch last night.

No,its simply the fact that people are realising that he is a much better player than most have given him credit for. Probably more to do with the public support of Klopp than anything else. I also heard terrible stick being given to Molby,Whelan,Ray Kennedy etc when they were at the club and Whelan captained us to trophies too. He got better in the eyes of some once he was gone.

There are 2 opposing opinions held by people on Hendo:

 

1 - Those that praise him when he performs well and call him out when he's a shithouse or goes missing. Or have seen much better players than him over the course of their lifetimes and have a valid comparison in their minds.

 

2 - Or those that think he never does a single thing wrong and he's one of the best midfielders we've have ever had, and best captain we've every had, and shouldn't ever be questioned and he's going to cure aids and be knows how to translate the Rosetta stone. And can give Chuck Norris a hiding. And isn't afraid of toilet paper, puppies and tulips. 

 

I fall into category 1.
