Because I'm not a big enough hypocrite to praise the manager for the run he's put together that might allow us to rescue the league season that we spent August to December fucking up but then just sit here quietly when he makes a total cunt of things like he did last night.  He gets the plaudits, he gets the shit.  That's how it works.

 

It's one match and truth be told, I'm hardly heartbroken that we're out of the Europa because we were never going to win it anyway and at least now Brendan will get his week with the team between games to try to ensure we get top 4 this season.  The extra rest the players will get isn't going to do us any harm either.

 

None of that changes the fact that we were fucking terrible in the second half last night and no manager worth his salt should have sat on his hands for as long as Brendan did watching them fucking stroll through our midfield without taking action, which is ultimately why we conceded the goal.

 

Check the match thread - there were about three pages of posts baying for him to take Balotelli off and get someone into the midfield because everybody could see what was wrong.  I know we get some bellends on here who think they're Bob Paisley because they once managed their lad's Sunday League side for a day but when that many people are highlighting the same problem, it's usually because it really is that fucking obvious.
