Him or Begovic for me. Neto I don't know and his name sounds dodgy for reasons stated the other day.

It just means 'grandson' in Portuguese. He was named after his grandfather, who has the same name. In Brazil, it's common to call the person that instead of his first name.

a stokie i know tells me begovic has been shit this season

He signed for them 4 years ago. Have you ever been to Stoke ? Four fucking years . I'm surprised he isn't dragging his knuckles and eating raw chickens by now.

They have conceded two more league goals than same stage last season and are 3 positions lower. Doesn't look to me like Begovic has gone to the dogs.  I  think he would be a massive improvement on our two clowns and we should have got hold of him last time around.

from what he tells me he has been responsible for many of the goals and isn't as commanding in his box as previous. sounds to me like he's been spending midweeks with achterberg in preparation for a january move to us.

Lacazette Blow

Liverpool look set to be frustrated in their pursuit of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette after the president of the French club ruled out his sale in January.

"I've made up my mind: we're not selling," Jean-Michel Aulas told L'Equipe.

"A big offer may come in, but it's a question of strategy. We have just invested more than €400million on a new stadium and it would make no sense to sell our best players, who can bring us Champions League football. "

love that. its like hes just decided after having a real good think about it.
