I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this is gonna be absolutely shite.

 

DC movies only work when there's a director strong enough to work with the material like Nolan, Donner or Burton. When they go for an el generico director (Green Lantern/Jonah Hex/Man of Steel) it always falls flat on it's face because there's no one at the studio with a singular vision (like Marvel).

Correct. Although I've always thought he was lucky to live in New York, if he'd been born in Holland he'd have been fucked.

I remember there was a scene in the '90s cartoon where he got caught out of the city, might have been Queens, and he had to walk back.
