It was big news in the little town I live in now when she did a gig and it 'only' took 3 days for the 200 tickets to sell out. Southern dickheads. There's actually two hundred people that live near me that want to sit through that shite.

She was decent many years ago during the alternative comedy days but isnt very funny any more.

There are not that many females doing comedy that are actually funny. As a man i don't find the bitching about blokes funny, if I want to hear about how shit I am at everything I'd get married.

 

Same with 'time of the month' stuff. It's an excuse for insecure females to vent their anger at men while under the guise of comedy. As outdated now as Les Dawson's mother in law jokes but then poking fun at heterosexual males is probably all that's left these days.

 

Jo Brand is fine on QI, I wouldn't want to have to endure her stand up or even her company at all.
