lads, question for you.

Now i hope im not going to be politically incorrect here

i watched this film in my local cinema, and when the N word was used, well, most of the time it was pretty funny, particlurly the scenes with the KKK and Samuel l Jackson. I wont lie, i laughed.

Now, my bother watched it in a fairly "arty" cinema, and he noticed there was no laughter during these scenes.

his missus works in this particular cinema. In this cinema they have questions and answers sessions with film critics/bloggers etc..... She was telling us yesterday, that the talking point for this weeks session was the "overuse of the N word" in the movie Django.

so i put this to the forum. Did you laugh?

The acting in the movie was superb. Waltz, Jackson and even Di Caprio who I don't even rate were absolutely excellent in their respective roles.

The 1st hour was stupendous but started dragging on a bit later on in the movie. I would've lost interest towards the end if it wasn't for the excellent performances, the actors really held up the script towards the latter stages of the movie.

Not on par with Pulp Fiction (which movie is?) but pretty entertaining. 7/10

I think Tarantino has been accused of making films that he didnt make, he's only directed 10 films.

If I had to rate my top 5 Tarantino films:

1: Reservoir Dogs

2: Django Unchained

3: Inglorious Basterds

4: Pulp Fiction

5: Kill Bill (both films, same fucking thing innit)

Madness. Pulp Fiction is by far and away QT's best work. It's in a league of its own compared to his other work.

Pulp Fiction is 10/10 movie for me. The rest of his work I would say no higher than 7 or 8/10/
