Got this email in work today

There a story doing the rounds on the web about DB (among other companies) being involved in helping to finance Tom Hicks in retaining his control of the club.

Mr Hicks' reputation across the fan base is less than good so the alleged association with DB could result in some protests being directed at the Liverpool office.

The matter is being escalated internally, but in the meantime, in the unlikely event of protests please do not comment to the media or respond to any protests/provocation, whether in person, online via phone etc.

Will you all please come down and protest for my entertainment please.

Hahaha, Agent DB on the case now is it? At this rate, if Hicks takes a shit we'll be able to report on how many sheets of bog roll he used.

Losing to Northampton was bad but seeing the general response to Purslow's PR has left me truly despondent.

You knew the PR bit was coming, take the sting out of the threat of boycott and protest but Jesus how gullible are the many. That interview was done a while ago, keep it in storage until it's needed, things are only going to get worse.

Fucking burns my beans mate, it really does all this shit.
