See, you can say it but it comes out quite differently if I say it

Exactly, but wisely chosen words to go with the wet could get you around it.

Sunny and 20°C over here, just about to go out with the dog dressed in T shirt and shorts...most people might laugh but the dog likes getting dressed up.

Twas pissing down yesterday though and the end of a decent summer is on us.

Nice weather chart, but i'd rather be cold than be a yank.

Twas down to 5°C last night over here. Bit cloudy this morning but supposed to get up to 18°C later with a bit of sun, it is officially the start of Autumn today.

I have used this thread more than most to moan about the weather so to redress the balance I just had to post what a fantastic drive I had through the Scottish Borders yesterday morning 'on my way south'........it was absolutely beautiful; clear blue sky and a bright sun shining through bronzing leaves of the beech trees that line the road and on the sharp frost in the fields. It was a joy to be out

Thermometer in the car dropped to a big fat zero on our way home last night

The joys of living in Scotland/or the North East.

To be honest the cold doesn't bother me as you can always wrap up when out and about, the heating bills suffer though, plus the gas/electric companies always put the twatting prices up!! Cold and wet is the weather i can't stand, plays havoc with my arthritis.
