Blimey, Joe Cole seems to have been in intense 'LFC-speak' training! He was great in the press conference when they tried to get him to discuss other clubs: 'I won't talk about other clubs, I'm a Liverpool player, I only want to talk about Liverpool'. The hacks were crestfallen!

That was Vinnie O'connor I do believe. He also asked the question about Torres wanting CL football to which we saw Hodgson being very assertive with the face of you and your mates here are pissing me off big style!

Not very often, only when he was trying to gouge him into action – i.e. turning his phone on.

 

Edit: And to be fair to Roy, I think he probably does need to dampen expectations a bit. The club is still in turmoil, we're losing one of our best outfield players, we're going to make a profit on transfers, have a new manager and all of our best players will have a short pre-season due to the World Cup. Not a recipe for a good start.
