What a bitter cunt Hicks is. I doubt some injunction granted in a Texan court by one of his good old boys is going hold up in the UK. Is right and I doubt NESV would be pursuing this unless there is a decent chance of it happening. Martin Broughton said earlier the owners could not block a sale and although they are trying desperately, I think he will be proven right.

I don't think its time for knee jerk reactions. From what I've read and heard these guys could be very good for the club, despite twats like Alan Myers on SSN desperately hoping that it gets wrapped up in a long legal battle. He must be a fucking bluenose.

The board managed to successfully repel a refinance proposal back in June. H&G can't get rid of board without Chairman's permission, which we assume will not be forthcoming. How can the refinance of a £300m loan at presumably extortionate interest costs be in the 'interests of the company', when viewed against a purchasers proposal to pay of all long term debt? The noose is closing round Tom Hicks neck and this is his last choke.

I'm still confident we are moving towards a sale. Perhaps not to Kenny Huang, although I don't think we've seen the last of him. It may be naive of me but I don't think Dalglish and Rush would stay at the club to watch the board preside over a sham sale or a sale to a G&H backed consortium. Everyone knows they are bad for the club, how would that sit with Borughton finding the most suitable purchaser for Liverpool with its best interests at heart? Reckon we will here something on the preferred bidder this week and it will be a suprise!

I for one would hate to see Dirk leave. No he's not technically gifted, but he makes up for it with bags of heart and important goals. Anyone who doubts his qualities and his contribution should watch Liverpool v Spurs last season. We should be asking well over £10m for him in my honest opinion., £12-15m. If he does go I suspect there is something in the Brian Ruiz rumour that is still doing the rounds.
