I remember saying when he was injured how much we missed him. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and views but when he was injured for me personally, we missed him massively and counted down the weeks till he was back. Yes he is no spring chicken and he can be frustrating but I still want him there in the back four week in week out because without him we lack organisation, authority and also heart in wanting to make those tackles that defines games and tackles that win games. I for one hope he is still at the heart of our defence for few more seasons still whether thats a first teamer or on the bench but he has to be there. We let Hyypia go and look at him ay Leverkusen, still doing the business at 36/37? I want to see Carragher doing that too.

Yeah I got onto that as well, really good that Kenny is doing that and for first time in years, I trust that if a kid is doing it in the reserves or under 18's, Kenny will bring them through and give them a chance. Also loving his comment about his future. Last time he said something similar was when he was asked about Steve Clarke and said he had nothing to report, next day he is assistant manager. He will not entertain journalists at all will he! Love it.

Positives from the game: Suarez is the shit! Agger is pivotal to our defence, we look so assured with him there. Carroll is getting there and I for one am glad he is playing and getting the minutes he needs. Team bounced back from the result on thursday. Clean sheet. Spearing- well in lad today!! Team plays as a team and it was a professional display.

Spot on. The kid has been out since before christmas, he has worked hard to get back into the side as Kenny keeps saying. He is still young and playing for a new team. Think some people need to calm down a little and let the kid find full fitness before we start judging him because he hasn't scored or done a pirouette in the air caught the ball in between his legs and volleyed the ball from 30 yards.

Don't know whats up with Raul, he played his usual position on thursday till we took Cole and Maxi off and brought Ngog and Spearing on and he shifted to the right but even on thursday he was non existent. Only my opinion but I think he prefers it when he does not have any sort of 'mucking in' duty if that makes sense. Could be talking out my arse but he doesn't really like to get stuck in putting tackles in but i suppose thats part of his game. Just hope we see what he can do in second half because he is a brilliant footballer and do really like him.

He'll be on his way soon enough he cannot help himself, Bruce is struggling to get him to control himself. And I wanted him once :$ he is just a dirty little shit.
