I'm Scottish and I couldn't really give a fuck about the Scotland national team. I like to see us win, but we'll never be great so I don't bother myself with it.

 

Also I don't like some of the players on a personal (or as close as you can get without knowing them) level. I find people like Kris Boyd, Barry Ferguson and Darren Fletcher repulsive. There are more. It has always seemed to me that Scotland is just where Celtic and Rangers become one. As I can't stand these players most weekends, I don't bother cheering for them just because they are wearing different clothes.

The ad does exactly what it is supposed to do, get the people interested and wanting England to win to get all chest thumpy and want to buy Carlsberg.

 

As far as not wanting England to win, I gave up caring about England as a football team in 2002. However, I will say one positive thing about England winning insomuch as the only saving grace about it would be the huge high that the whole country will get.

 

This is something that we really need at the moment because we are being surrounded by shit and have to look forward to 10+ years of being fucked in the ass by the Government.
