Just want to point out what a pleasure it was to have met them today. I have pictures on my Facebook with them during Pre Match drinks at the Shakespeare in Williamson Square.

 

Singing songs, swapping stories and talking football. They are an absolute quality bunch of people, who really showed respect to the city.

 

Can't say much more than despite this abortion of a season, they've ended it for me on a high.

They are a classy club. Love them to bits, even after they went through tonight, roaring, LIVERPOOL, out of respect to us. Loved today bar the result. My second team before today was Atleti, and today has only increased my love for them.

I had a great day. Ant had me in stitches with his G.C.S.E Spanish.

 

The Atletico fans were superb. The Liverpool chant by them was class. And the clapping of the Atletico team off the pitch and them clapping the fans, is one the things that makes our club special.

An Atletico fan shouted at me while me and the fella were walking up Walton breck and my boyfriend (who had downed a few) went over to him and did the, in his words, "Eurpean finger wag". The Atletico fan thought it was hilarious.
