Have been wanting to learn more about her for a while now but finding much info on the net doesn't seem to be easy. Does anyone who knows much about Irish mythology know of any good books and/or links on her please? I know that the net can be a junkyard with the same rehashed minimal info for stuff like this but thought I'd ask about that too just incase.

Actually, if there's anyone around who's up on Irish mythology I'd appreciate anything decent about the Morrigan/Morrigu if you could aswell while I'm asking. Again, thanks if you can help.

Know bits about Scathach, but mostly just her role in the life of Cu Chulainn and that it was her that give Cu Chulainn the Gae Bolg.

 

As for the Morrigan, my only memory of them is the spirit(s) that appears to Cu Chulainn during his battles against Medb army.

 

I know that these things are included on the Irish course at Queen's Uni in Belfast, would maybe suggest checking to see if you can get a copy of the course reading list, either via the website or bluffing that you are considering applying to be on the course.

Hah, that's the Shin Megami Tensei character of her I think, not that you see her like that though obviously! Couldn't find much of her artwise but there's a decent one of Morrigu on deviant art :

Strange really as I'm actually planning on drawing both myself, have just got to practise for a while yet as my drawing skills are nowhere near what they should be. Have just got a wacom tablet though so with the effort that should be sorted eventually.
