Um, no. When he's being shit for extended periods he shouldn't be in the team. That's the problem with the Dirk lovers, they always manage to completely forget the complete and utter shite he produces prior to his purple patches.

most of us could see that dropping lucas, moving gerrard into the middle and playing yossi behind torres would make the best of what we had but was it to be. was it fuck.

 

and then there's the undroppable dirk worse than a donkey. why doesn't rafa shift dirk to the left and play yossi on the right. it's not as though dirk's attributes of workrate, miskicked goals and penalties would suffer.
