NFL Discussion and Fantasy League thread

Have to hand it to the NFL.

Middle of perhaps the most exciting NBA play-off season ever, hockey play-offs going, baseball up-and-running, and still a lot of people are talking about the draft, and have been for the past two months.

That includes the radio and TV press over here in NA.

No surprise it's so popular.

(This isn't a criticism, btw. I love the NFL. Best league by a mile in terms of entertainment value/parity etc this side of the Atlantic, IMO.)

I think Pryor is the better of the two safties myself. Them lads from Bama are half shot by the time they hit the league. Saying that if CJ Mosley slips to 27 id take him.

That is my reservation as well. I wouldn't be too bothered if we picked a high end CB and then picked Joyner in the 2nd or 3rd.

I dont see how the Cowboys viable take Manziel.Romo has $55ml in guaranteed money on his deal.

Reported before that sources at the Giants said they will take Manziel if he is still there at 12. Think they are baiting myself but be interesting to see what happens.

Anyway im going to take a wild guess at Mack getting selected 1st

Manziel wont get past Tampa and Minnesota imo

Depends on how much influence Norv Turner get's in the decision/influences the thinking of the GM (likely very little). Doesn't seem much point in them bringing him in then drafting a QB that doesn't fit, Bortles would be a better option.

Interesting to see what the Patriots do at QB (Not in the first). Regardless of whether they trade Mallett or not they need a dev QB. McCarron (if he drops low enough), Savage (Likewise after his rise) or does the talk about a trade with Tampa (if they draft Manziel)  for Glennon.
