Does anyone play it on their laptop or just their PC? I've only ever played it on the PC and I've only got the laptop now but I'm worried it will take up too much memory or run too slowly. Any tips?

I use a laptop and it's fine.

 

If you can find out the general spec of your laptop and post it up here, it will be easier to tell you how well FM will run on it.

Tell you what, got a few bargains in already. Sold Dossena (£6m), Voronin (£5m), Degen (£2.5m), Babel (£10m) and Plessis (£900k). Got Vicente in for £2m plus Gerardo Bruna. Also brought in Diego Buonanotte, Rafael Van Der Vaart and Kakha Kaladze all in on loan for the season with options to buy (loan fees totalled around £3m). Hoping to bring in Marco Cassetti from Roma for £800k as back up for Johnson, and then use the last £4m to sign a right sided attacker. Working on a few deals to sign a back up central midfielder aswell, hopefully Paddy Viera.

You can get Simone Pepe on a season long loan for £2m, unless Juve have already beaten you to the punch....

Loving the new layout, just not a big fan of the choice of colours used. Will have a look round for a better skin. Sorted most of the graphics out, though some logo's need replacing due to being a different size from last years, but once I've got them all sorted, I will begin the daunting process of uploading my graphics file for everyone to download.

How so? The new layout is much, much, much easier to use, and the tactics creator is much more in depth and lets you get your team playing the way you want. You're just too much of a dinosaur to embrace the changes.

The layout is just over complicated, too much focus on making it look "cool", not enough on making it simple. I just want to be able to hit squad when I want to look at my team, although I am aware of the keyboard shortcuts and tend to use them more...... It still sucks though.

 

The tactics thing though is probably because you can't just toggle between the 2, I like a couple of the ideas with the new creator, but overall it's just another pointless gimmick for me.

 

Probably is just me being set in my ways, but I likes what I knows, and I knows what I likes....

I decided to go with Sunderland but dont know who to sell they have a budget of 10 mill though so not bad.
