My Parents have been married 42 years, he hasn't put his foot down yet, can't see him starting now.  The place where the party is being held have a separate bar next door with a big screen so it probably isn't going to be as difficult as what I made it sound, just a royal ball ache.  My missus has said she fully understands if I fuck off next door but I wont have to meet guests while pretending to smile.

OK. so, I followed the Rev's advice and backed out of the theatre with some smooth words.

 

However now I have been invited to Scotty's house to watch the match...BUT...I wanna watch it with my kids (who have got into the CL thing), so I declined.

Now...here's where it get's complicated - my other mate, Corty has invited himself to mine!

 

Now, It's gonna look like I am trying to host a rival Scotty's 'do'. What should I do?

Anyway, I'm away with the family down near Plymouth, so it'll be a case of finding a pub that doesn't only accept local people...
