Have you ever thought of doing a Viz type cartoon sketch to lampoon Kenwright? You know - something which would illustrate his pie in the sky, daydreaming, Billy Liar tendencies. There must be a budding cartoonist out there who could put something together?

Ha ha ha. Quality!!!

Why are they even discussing me though? I was talking about Jari, and never even mentioned the blues, so why am I even relevant to them?

Ah well, the price of fame I suppose! lol

Returning to the Kenwright theme – a couple of ideas for consideration and further development:

(1) How about a regular column based on “The Twilight Zone”…but called “The Kenwright Zone”? There must be mileage in that. It would be really effective if you could obtain and then manipulate the Twilight Zone logo to head up each article…but not sure if you would fall foul of copyright law. Anyway – something to think about.

(2) Similar approach – but based on “Phoenix Nights” (Peter Kay C4 Thurs.). The similarities are remarkable – the central character is Brian Potter, and his club (The Phoenix) is struggling to rise from the ashes (literally, following a fire). The central figure is a pathetic, self-deluded idiot whose schemes are notable for their complete naff-ness and cheapness….which all end in failure. He is also a monumental self-publicist and bandwagon-chasing opportunist who tries to ram the club and its “achievements” down the throats of anyone unfortunate to be within earshot. The final (spooky) connection between Phoenix Nights and Everton…is that the Phoenix has recently recruited two useless Chinese lads, who stowed away on a van during an illicit booze run to Calais!
