We've already been missing him and Diaz for three months.

 

Them being around wouldn't fix the midfield issues, but we'd have a lot more spark and options up front.

 

Pretty much everything that could go wrong has gone wrong this season.

Seems to me the evidence is the opposite happens and the medics say player is fit when clearly not leading to breakdown.

Jota is very good at chasing back, hassling, committing the odd tactical foul. He'll be a great option to have available when he's back fit.

I'd flog Jota in a heartbeat not because he's not a good player but because he's quickly becoming a crock. If he could stay fit absolutely he'd be a superb squad player. He's Ings replacement it seems.

Beyond the injuries, I just don't see how he fits in tactically now. He'll be of use because there are 5 subs and because he'll score some here and there, but probably for no other grand plan or reason.
