This is interesting. It shows that some people who have never had the virus have resistance to it. That would make the levels of infection required to have some kind of herd immunity (potentially much) lower.

How can we be sure they've never had it though? Some people have it without any symptoms.

Isn't this what that professor you quoted recently from March and Irish Times said 2 months ago, when discussing the cruiser epidemic?

The sun in Mexico and Brazil doesn't seem to be helping much. You're right though, there are many variables, I just stated the most likely two.

On the phone to the mate last night, he lives in Mexico, he said it hasn't been as bad as here in the UK and bars etc opening back up today apparently.

I always wonder how arsed people who live in places like Columbia and Mozambique are about a virus that probably kills about one in 100 people. Remember how nobody over here was arsed about Ebola until that Scottish  nurse got it like 15 times.

Probably not that much, didn't she fake it or something and ended up in court?

No idea, was a good way to get a few days off though. Volunteer in Sierra Leone for a few days in an Ebola hotspot, come back and anytime the footy is on and it's a nice day just phone the boss and say you're feeling a wee bit groggy.

"Yeah you definitely stay at home love we'll pick your emails up."
