To be fair they've not quoted him there. But I know you've followed him and they're probably are out there and the new scientist isn't exactly the mail.

It was widely reported at the time and was based on one of his models.

He doesn't seem to be very well balanced.

Heh, for every reasoned and informed interviewee, you have to have some completely unhinged nutter spouting utter nonsense. It's part of the BBC's remit.

Just found out my brother was admitted to hospital in Berlin last night with pneumonia. He tested negative for Covid on Wednesday and is awaiting results from another test today.

I hope he makes a full recovery mate, all the best.

Just drove past a few betting shops on the way back from the shops. They were heaving with people smoking outside the front doors, fuck all masks and social distancing. Fucking idiots.

Piers Corbyn, the brother of the former Labour leader, has been led away in handcuffs after arriving at Hyde Park with a megaphone and espousing the conspiracy theory that 5G and the coronavirus pandemic are linked, calling it a “pack of lies to brainwash you and keep you in order”.

He was detained after declining to leave when asked to by an officer and refusing to provide his details, PA Media reports.

A group of about a dozen people has also gathered on Southampton Common to demonstrate against the lockdown. One protester, Dee, who did not wish to give her surname, said her job in the hair and beauty industry had been hit by the crisis. She told PA Media:

I am here because I am worried about civil liberties being taken away. Reading the coronavirus act that has gone through parliament it seems there are changes being made which infringe our freedom.

And I am worried the media has run away with the Covid-19 thing and blown it all out of proportion.

Maybe 'Dee' could be gainfully employed doing hair and makeup in an undertakers.

What were the odds on that...

Evens.

I'm surprised that they've reopened the betting shops to be honest. Loads of them over here and they aren't exactly spacious, meaning that social distancing will be nigh on impossible to control. Obviously fuck all to do with the big betting companies wanting to rake money in, no sirree.

Just spoke to my sister-in-law who is a classroom assistant. She has been called back into school on a temporary basis and full-time from 1st June. She specialises working with special children and they obviously don’t do boundary issues. Anyway, on the advice of the Department of Education staff wont get PPE - she’s having to source her own gloves and has been told they can’t wear masks as it may frighten the children. Seriously.

They have two children of their own and one is an asthmatic who needs a regular inhaler.

But you can't see your sister in law in person.

My missus is a teacher. She was told by the union not to engage with school management about returning, it should all be done through the union.
