Just putting it out there. After watching that Doobies/Michael McDonald clip. The 'Fender Rhodes' is a truly wonderful harmonious instrument.

you're right - Joe Sample on a Rhodes was something to behold.  I've got a mate who's recently taken delivery of a 1971 vintage Mk 1 - I've had a go on it and it's gorgeous.  She's going get it serviced - a few of the notes have gone a bit awry with the damping, but it's a belter

AWB is boss - as per the thread the drummer now on Live at Darryls is Brian Dunne who played for them after Steve Ferrone. (also of Chaka Khan Saturday Night Live and Tom Petty and the HB's).

I think the guy who served them well on the drums was a local guy called Robbie McIntosh who passed away with the heroin affliction at 24. Massively talented, dead far too young. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robbie_McIntosh_(drummer)

He was then replaced by Steve Ferrone, who wasn't bad either.
