clyne is a waste of time as our attacking width - in the first 3 mins he had acres of space and loads of time to put a cross in and hit a slow weak ball in that was cut out...set the tone for the lack of any end product from him for the half...he takes too much time, does not deliver and slows it down too often - a liability when asked to be an attacking threat.

 

as for their goal same old deficiencies from our centre halves - caught out and guilty of not getting into position to defend the final ball.

Lovren sold himself and Clyne is fucking useless at trying to get back in a defensive position, it's like he thinks his pace can get him out of trouble but can't be arsed using it half of the time, he really has regressed this season imo and offers little in an attacking sense. Pity Can fucked up an easyish chance to get a shot on target, thought palace were there for the taking up until they got in behind us.

Ahead from a piece of genius from Coutinho. Nearly opened them up a couple of other times, but it's largely resembled the walking football episode of Father Ted when we've had the ball. The tempo needs to be upped significantly in the second half.

 

As for their goal, it's criminal defending from the entire back four. Just really fucking poor!

 

Still think we'll win if we come out fast in the second half, but Palace have the pace and ability to cause us lots of problems still.
