Bundesliga isn't far off the PL, very similar in a lot of aspects. I reckon that is why a large percent of players who move to the PL are success stories at various levels. I'm surprised that market isn't tapped more. I think a season in the Bundesliga would bring on the lads game personally.

Agree with PB here. We've already sent a couple of players on loan to the Bundesliga and it is very similar to the PL in fact. The Championship is a decent league but still features a good few teams who are not even good enough at that level.

They did not want to send Grujic to a European league because they want to get him used to playing in the physical English leagues and not replicate the situation with Markovic who went backwards spectacularly when he was loaned all over Europe Hull City loan excepted.

Don’t know. But if he has, then on one hand it’s impressive to be so influential without getting the rythm from a longer spell fit and playing regularly.

 

On the other hand he’s still got a lot to prove. And first thing to do is stay fit, which again is a major concern with him.
