Read an interview with that Mark Williams-Thomas guy earlier.  Supposedly he's had unique access to Tackleberry and his family, and "genuinely" believes he's an innocent man who's utterly filled with remorse for his 'mistake'.

 

As someone who's found that Pistorius's defence would require the suspension of disbelief on most strands of his evidence to believe it, I was interested to read that The Blade Runner had told him he wasn't concerned with what the judge decides in the coming days, as no punishment can ever be as great as the one's he's imposed on himself, by losing this person he loved at his own hand.

 

Immediate thoughts that his trial conduct couldn't have looked less like someone in that frame of mind had he rolled around in the sewer to try and free himself, difficult to shake off right now.
