David Amoo has his contract cancelled

Preston winger David Amoo has had his contract cancelled at the club by mutual consent. The 21-year-old signed a one-year deal in the summer and has made 24 appearances for Graham Westley's side.

 

Think he might be off to Tranmere.

Tranmere Rovers sign former Liverpool FC striker David Amoo until end of the season

 

TRANMERE ROVERS have signed former Liverpool FC front man David Amoo on a six month contract to give manger Ronnie Moore extra attacking options for the final 20 games of the League One season.

 

The 21-year old winger progressed through the youth system at Millwall before joining Liverpool’s Academy at the age of 16. He spent time on loan at MK Dons, Hull City and Bury before joining Preston North End in the summer.

 

Moore said: “I’m really pleased to sign David. He’s a player I tried to bring in last summer and one I’m excited to have at the club.

 

“He’s got fantastic pace, he can beat players and he can score goals too. He can play out wide or up front and he gives us extra attacking options.

 

“I’m still hopeful of adding more new faces to the squad as well over the coming weeks.”

 

Amoo added: “I’m happy to be here, it’s a fantastic opportunity for me.I want to prove myself. The Club is doing well and I want to help in the push for promotion.”
