Been sitting watching this game thinking to myself that United were always bound to win this. 

But I never thought that they would get this lucky. 

 

A goal that should never have stood as Valencia was offside when the original cross came in, and a lucky flick from Wellbeck.

 

This surge of confidence that the commentators are saying only provides a little respite for whats to come. They really have not been playing that well.

That Barcelona game was poor in my opinion. Both seemed not to want to lose which is understandable but at least real and barca try go toe to toe which is far more entertaining.

 

Not sure Atletico are all that arsed about being entertaining (although they are most of the time). They're bridging a gap that many didn't think was possible. Its a great achievement.

How did Arda play?

Even against Barca he oozes class. In my opinion he's perfect for us in the wide left role (although like a Coutinho he's better as a typical number 10) as he's good in possession and creative. He works very hard too which is what Rodgers wants from his wide men.
