Despite anything i've ever said about him, i've got more respect for him than any other player in the squad after that today, there are players we fielded today that i'd gladly never watch play again for any team, let alone us, gutted does not even come close to it but credit where it's Due he was fantastic.

Yep. Showed heart, and scored a good goal and very nearly pulled back another. Still not the player we need, but respect for him has gone up for that shift.

I seem to remember him being ok against Cardiff, but he was excellent against Everton and the same when he came on today. He's always going to be a bit limited, but he's got bollocks, and he seems to have grasped that he's playing for Liverpool.

ive said all along give him time he will make it and show his worth and today i think he can be proud of what he did on the pitch and long may he carry on doing that

i would say he was our best player today

Well in Ezekiel, Andy was excellent when he came on. I'm not one to single out players for criticism normally but what is going on with enrique since christmas? Stupid error leading to a goal and bad decision making throughout.

Should have come on before half time or at least during it. There were signs of Suarez being isolated from early on.

Spot on. Was amazed/dumbfounded/gutted there were no changes made at half time.
