  1. Ian Ayre and a number of Liverpool officials are believed to have flown across the Pacific in an effort to seal the deal for Shakhtar’s biggest talent Ayre is now threatening to conquer the Himalayas and reach the South Pole if Shaktar doesn't budge.
  2. I will be so disappointed if we don't sign anyone tomorrow.
  3. That's the fifth player signed and the transfer window is even open yet. What the hell has happened to our transfer dealings? Is Michael Corelone doing our negotiations now?
  4. If I could choose two people to score for us tonight it would have been Balotelli and Lovren. Both badly needed something positive to boost their self-esteem.
  5. Watching Markovic I tell myself that he needs time to settle and adapt to british football. Then I look at Coutinho and remember his first games and realize that quality players adapt straight away.
  6. We just can´t catch a break, we´re all out of luck. We´re so close to score time and time again, but gets punished for every error at the back. We had a bit of fortune on several occasions last season, now it´s evening out I suppose.
  7. Feels strange to write this, but I think Lucas, Borini and Johnson have all played well tonight.
  8. Last year our great form and title-challenge was launced as Flanno broke into the team with that fantastic goal against Spurs. He was a regular as we battered everyone and almost clinched the title. Now, with Flanno injured, we are struggeling again. This has led me to conclude that Flanagan is our most important player and essential to our performances. Forget Suarez or Sturridge, it's our young scouse fullback that pulls all the strings.
  9. He certainly has potential, he was regarded as one of the top talents in Europe a few months ago. Don´t think he has lost all of his ability over the summer. But he looks desperately short of confidence right now, as mentioned above he has a touch of Downing about him. But I would also say he reminds me of Sterling last autumn, before the Spurs game. Only time will tell which of those comparisons that fits best. Hopefully he can turn it around or get a bit of luck. A goal would make a lot of difference I think. It´s a strange thing that confidence has such an impact on the pace of players. Markovic is supposedly really quick, but apart from the City-game I haven´t seen it. Yesterday I thought he even looked slow at times. But again, it was the same with Sterling last year. Remember thinking his pace was overrated, now he just fly past players.
  10. Well it´s a highly significant difference, so you would´t expect it to even itself out over time. Most of the explanation is probably that Liverpool is a top team and usually are superior to the opposition is shoot-outs. Would be interesting to compare our record to that of other teams though. Are we better at shoot-outs than teams we can compare ourselves with, like the other top PL teams?
  11. Come off your fucking line Mignolet!!!
  12. Never expected Lambert to be a world-beater, but thought he would be better than this. Hard to see what all the fuzz abut Markovic was about, he looks very ordinary.
  13. Brilliant. My bad mood after yesterday´s loss suddenly lifted.
  14. Only positive from that half was that Lucas was less shit than expected. The captain was awful though so it evens out I guess. Now Lallana is coming on so he´ll probably get his fair share of shitness also then.
