Shit build-up to the game (Suarez debacle), shit team-selection, shit performance in front of both goals... Pepe's cock-ups are getting a bit annoying now too. I still rate him as the best keeper we could possibly have, but his lapses seem to always come against the best possible opposition, making it extremely difficult to get back in the game...

PS! That Downing clean hit against Sunderland was just a fluke, wasn't it? Thought he did a few things pretty well tonight, but when is he ever going to hit the ball cleanly?

Worst thing tonight is the realisation that Henderson is going to be a starter for the foreseable (sp?) future. I really don't think we can afford playing a complete passenger for the majority of our games.

Too angry to post really, should have waited, but have to take it out on here or the wife will get a beating...

Erm...

Agger

Spearing

Johnson

No one comes out of that game with any great credit. They're just the players who seemed to piss me off less than anyone else. Spearing gave the usual solid but unspectacular shift we seem to get from him most games while Agger and Johnson at least seemed to be trying to make something happen at times when going forward rather than just playing 5 yard sideway passes. Pretty depressing that it's 2 defenders I'm saying that about.
