HELP

Dunno what's up with my PS3 but I got home from uni today and tried to play my PS3 on the new TV.

It's a Samsung (model is LE32D400E1W) TV and I've never had problems with my PS3 before. I've tried holding down the power button for 5 seconds, tried unplugging everything else from the TV and turned it off and on. The TV is wank and won't let me connect it manually and I have to have a scart cable (the whole TV has 1 fucking cable so I have 1 of these).

Google has failed me, TLW you are my last hope.

I had problems with a Samsung TV when trying to connect an old laptop with a VGA cable (I think that's what they're called). Anyway, there is an issue with Samsung TV's that they won't recognise certain connections unless they are "live" and to combat this the internet told me that you had to short the end of the cable using a safety pin or something like that...however, that didn't fucking work so I got a new laptop.

Shoepiss is right, stop arseing about with scart and get an HDMI cable.

Just ordered one off of Amazon, will that fix everything?

Cheers lads.

What you are doing is this :- connecting a High Definition digital device to a length of analogue turd to a high definition digital device.

I reckon there'll still be trouble in Israel but it will fix your PS3 problem.
