Can't really understand why mr Henry has gone public with this. Seems like a stupid thing to do. Aquilani was our best player yesterday, but for fucks sake it was a pre season friendly against a pretty shit team. Ngog has used to play quite well against poor teams, in pre season friendles and early stages of e-league, but he falls through in premier league because he simply is not good enough.

 

I like Aquilani, but it is the managers job too decide if a player should stay or go. Hopefully King Kenny doesn't get bothered by this, because we certainly don't need any distractions and conflicts right now. We had enough of that under the last regime...

It was a bit rich to be claiming that Aquilani was the missing link last season as there were several gaping holes in that team. If we get rid of him now, then surely it makes Henry look a bit daft after claiming he's so valuable.

 

He is right though in recognisisng that Aquilani is one of the very few players we actually have with the ability to play that final ball, which without Gerrard was sadly lacking.

He was just giving his own view on N'gog and Aqui in a couple of twitter comments, no big deal really and he knows himself he's got a lot to learn about footie.
