Apparently were all stupid and confusing character with characteristics.

 

I bet we are too. It's his characteristics that totally inform his character, his actions and the way he deals with situations.

 

He is one weird fucker Tom Cruise. It was his production company that bought the rights to One Shot. He must know that he is totally unsuitable, but as usual he's got to be the hero and his twat ego got in the way of some decent casting.

I know Tom Cruise gets a lot of hate, but I don't mind him, I really like some of his films, but this is just wrong on all sorts of levels. It's going to be 90% Tom Cruise and 10% Reacher, it looks fucking awful.

That trailer is all kinds of wrong.

 

I can see this "Franchise" (hateful word) going the same way as Tom Clancys Jack Ryan.

Each new film has a different lead actor (Alec Baldwin/Harrison Ford/Ben Affleck...soon Chris Pine).

 

Not read One Shot yet, half way through "The Enemy" will be interesting to see how it compares to the cruise effort.

Alan Ritchson cast as Jack Reacher in new Amazon show. He is much closer physically to the character in the books than the films.

I always thought Ray Stevenson would be perfect for the role around the time he was in Rome but he must be in his mid 50's now so will be interesting to see the new guy.

 

The Second Tom Cruise movie was on last night and isn't a bad film. If you hadn't read any of the books it is probably better again.

Good choice, he's good in Titans, the more interviews I see of child the more I like the guy.

Yeah that's true, his brother writes similar stuff about a navy intelligence investigator. Child said he was gonna quit but I reckon his brother has had a word in his shell like.

 

I read a book by this bloke who follows Child around while he writes his latest book, he basicslly just sits there making it up as he goes along while smoking ciggies and pot and drinking coffee. He got sacked by Granada years ago which is what led him to writing and says the Reacher stories are his revenge fantasies.

I always thought Jocko Willink would be perfect, I seem to remember Reacher having the same shape forehead. I can’t post pics because I’m stupid but google is your friend.
