I've never been to an away match where I haven't head Munich songs. This season I've been to two, Bolton and Wigan and there was it at both.

 

I was at Bolton and didn't hear it.

 

Heard it at Birmingham, though.

There was also a YouTube video of people chucking an inflatable aeroplane around and singing Munich songs at Old Trafford last season. Think it was only in the concourse but there was a lot of people joining in - mostly the usual suspects who keep Happy Als in business.

 

It happens, it's a loud minority of mostly young lads but as a group grow out of it and realise it's stupid a younger batch of fans move up and take over.

Them cunts are far worse than us. They had their fans and players singing about Heysel after the won the European cup for god sake and they had 70000 people singing about it for 18 months after.

 

Im sure some of our fans sing about Munich and its totally wrong, but come on, we dont have the amount they do singing it.

Though the whole "Tragedy Top Trumps" is pathetic, mocking Munich is nowhere near as offensive or raw as mocking Hillsborough.

Maybe more as offensive than you think. When our 'fans' mock Munich, they're mocking an ex- captain, one of our best ever manager's closest friends, and an ex-keeper.

I'm not having a "I go to more matches then you" argument but I get to 5 or 6 aways season and even if it's only down under the stands at half time I find there's always a gang of young scum giving it bifters about Munich or Harold shipman.

 

Harold Shipman was really loud at City this season. I'd say I hear Munich chants at about 50% of aways I go to every season, I'd go to around 5-7 matches on average.

They'll have 80k singing "without killing anyone....". When we have 40k singing Munich songs it'd be a bad day, then we can compare.
