Burn after Reading

Kermode, who's opinion I tend to trust, laid into it in a big way. And he really liked Casino Royale.

I thought of the film as a joke built like "The Aristocrats"... a massive build up and the punchline at the end is superb.

However, the storyline is FAIRLY pointless... but it's just a fantastic journey to the punchline.

I saw this in Riga and it was absolutely hilarious.

Brad Pitt was absolutely hilarious... and so was George Clooney. The whole theater was rolling on the floor at one point and I had a lot of laughs all the way through the film.

I highly recommend this!

That cinema in Riga fucking rules, absolutely massive and fantastic sound quality. Watched Indy there a few months back.

That, and you get fucking leathered in the cinema and they aren't charging you a mortgage to do it.

We had a drink pre-film, during the film, and post film.

The seats were also really comfortable. I was dead happy with it. I saw a film in Tartu, Estonia as well (eagle eye) and it was so cheap I felt like crying... Little theater, comfy seats, cheap prices, and it was fairly empty that day as well.

I paid £3 for a large popcorn and an iced tea(60 esti kroon). Awww bless...

Worth going back to Riga, just for the cinema you understand.

Of course, Remmie. For good theaters, just theaters you understand, I firmly recommend Tallinn.

I didn't enter any of the local theaters there, as I was with my bird and whatnot, but I did use my eyes...

I was going to rep your last post with 'Lovely theaters, indeed' but I do have to spread it around some more.

The seats were quite plush, and pleasing to the eye as well as the touch. I found the refreshments quite quenching as well.
