Hopefully they will get in the football league one day or have a few FA Cup Giantkillings. Be good if a wealthy local businessman backed them.

The Premiership will probably look the same bar a few more teams getting more money and competing. I think that the PL will get more exposure and smaller leagues round Europe will end up with little or no local interest as they will have very little chance of qualifying for the Champions League or having a good run in the UEFA Cup.

As long as the money is here the more and more foreign players will head here. If there is a star player in Germany, Italy or France they will eventually end up here on massive wages, it will make their leagues shit to watch with no real superstar there to light the games up. Kaka will end up in England one day, Benzema will as well. The only places that can compete will be at Real or Barca who will result to bigger and nastier dirty tricks to get the player they want rather than him go to Chelsea or Man City.

It will be even harder and harder for local players to make the grade, plus if an owner of an English club wants a load of his countrymen to come over to their academy or be promoted to the 1st team, who will tell them to do one?

Sky or Setanta will continue to shaft the fans by bumping up subscription charges, people who can't afford to pay it or pay £50 a ticket will all end up in the pubs watching it. Richard Keys will still have hairy hands, Andy Gray will still be a biased bitter blue and Jamie Redknapp will still go on about Steven Gerrard being played out of his best position until he retires.

a good one here -off the afc forum

) Every premier league ground will be made to convert to all-hospitality box status, allowing 10% of the stadium to remain seated. Admission to premier league games will be based on wage income, with the 10% poorest allowed in the (uncovered) seating area for charitable reasons. All viewers will be issued day 'supporter' packs including foam hands and optional FC pet/life/home/independant thought insurance. I think games will be split into 4 quarters and between each interval, two randomly picked 'cheap seat' fans will be made to fight to the death in the centre circal for the entertainment of the corporate masses and will be analysed by a cyborg with the attatched head of the recently deceased Andy Gray. The clubs emporer (formerly owner) will give judgement on even bouts. Christians and people displaying 'passion' will be thrown to the bird-flu infested pelicans.

Something along those lines...
