I do like Bullard though. He falls into the category of other teams players that you quite like. He looks wired and is a bit mad. Decent player too and would be a good signing for one of the uefa cup teams

It's actually a friendship that developed while Bullard was at Peterborough and Finnan was at Fulham.

 

I have two emails from two more mates who are Blackburn and Burnley fans saying that have heard too. Make of it what you will.

Can't wait till Jimmy pulls on the red. He's gives it 108% every game for Fulham and I don't see it changing when he comes here. And we now are in need of a miraculous free kick taker not that JAR has gone off to Roma. Letting him go and putting the money towards Bullard is just genius.

 

I've actually got a coy of Total Football from November last year where he talked of his desire to step up and play for one of the big clubs. He did mention Chelsea primarily and not us, but you can see his ambition.

I didn't say they played together. I never even suggested that. I said Finnan was one of the first players to wish him well after the injury. Lots of players from lots of clubs send their regards to other players of other clubs if they have a bad injury. Lot of players are friends with lots of players they've never even played with before.
