Not saying it wasn’t good play but KDB, it clearly was, but it’s not got massive pace on it, it’s a nice height, it’s not in the corner.

City are just far too dominant. You used to be able to get at them, but they control games to such an extent now that they only give up 1 or 2 big chances per game and you have to be almost perfect in front of goal to get a result.

I was hoping it’d be a draw today. We win tomorrow, win our game in hand and it’s back to 6.

 

Feels like we won’t catch them now. 
 

In reality, we can only blame ourselves. We’ve not shown anything like the level of control we did in 2019 & 2020, it’s been a persistent issue all season.

 

Brighton, Brentford and Leicester should be 7 extra points with 2 games in hand. That makes it a title race. 
 

Still, is winning 3 cup trophies this year would be pretty sweet!

You do have to wonder when supporters of  other teams will realise that if this continues (and the presence of Newcastle in a few years time) there’s no chance of anyone other than financially doped teams winning trophies.
