I think the big mistake on this one was gunning for Liverpool players too quickly and missing the first pool of other clubs players -- there's a good depth of options that can plug any area on the pitch, and to be honest we probably have positive-bias towards our own players whereby some are going to be over-rated compared to other clubs counterparts

Yeah, it's harder than it seemed. Plus my memory for players of the nineties/noughties is shit.

Yeah - I was surprised by how few appearances some players have. Harder than it seems to get those 50 appearances. Shevchenko & Gullitt for example just dip below the 50 mark - whereas Albert Moron is at 90. Life's not fair.

Yeah

A few players I thought about litteraly missed out by one or two games.

Or players you forgot were part of title winning teams. I though oh Ballack joined after Mourinho first team, same with Dturridge then you see no they won the league

Some very interesting omissions so far in this one: the reputations of some players interestingly seems quite low in popular consensus despite statistics pointing otherwise. Lots of cool players anyway (Des Walker was a great pick) - really enjoy these retro picks.

Djorkaeff is a great pick. I completely forgot about him. It's mental looking back seeing the likes of Djorkaeff at Bolton and Mendieta at Middlesborough!

your go!

and yes weirdly Djorkaeff wasn't even that old when he went to Bolton.

Ravanelli + Vialli were the Champions League winning forward line for Juventus .. then within 2 years both were at pretty mid-table clubs in Middlesborough and Chelsea. Some strange moves then. Admittedly Ravanelli was the highest paid player in the league; money talks.
