Look. I know what you are thinking. Because most of my adult life I've had those pre conceptions about filthy junkies. Even though it's perfectly ok to do lemo and Gary's. The moment you mention the H word you are scum. I've lost loads of friends over this. I've been in rehab once. The sad thing is I never went near that stuff until I fell in love with a bird who was bang into it. Not a hooker. Not homeless. A probation officer no less. 2 degrees. More highly educated than me. So please don't judge. It can effect anyone. Anyone's family. It's a struggle. But it's not cancer. So you can get better. But please for the love of god. Don't go down the pineapple on a pizza route

I agree with you. People think that coke is acceptable but it's just as bad as scag but people don't see it that way. They see it as fashionable of even trendy but it's as bad as scag and it fucks you up as much as scag.

I went fucking loopy on morphine in the hospital. They had to stop it,thought people were trying to kill me. Apparently swung at people too (thats really not me at all). All i remember are vague fucked up dreams.

I nearly had my had cut off but they saved it. I was on morphine max dose for a good while I pressed a button for a hit. When they stopped it I would have killed everyone in that hospital for 1 more hit. Not because of the pain returning i just missed the lovely warm feeling of serenity and bliss.

I don't think morphine would do a great deal for the old decapitation.

I had the self dosage and was attacking it hard by all accounts. When i went back in this year the first thing i said was do not under any circumstances give me morphine

I can see where DS is coming from describing the stigma of Heroin. Not everyone who takes it are fucked up thieving zombies, there are a huge amount of high functioning addicts with jobs and families.

 

The one guy I know who took it had a good job and a marriage to a nice woman and you never would have guessed. Like what others have said, everyone thinks coke is a laugh and will accept that, but that can be hugely addictive as well

Ill be honest I did coke every now and the in the 80's and it was great. I did some in the 2000's and felt like my head was in a vice. It's utter shite and probably more amphet than coke.
