Kovacic and Keita is the dream midfield, as 2 in a 4-2-3-1 they’d be Klopp’s wet dream, the double pivot straight from heaven. Both are good defensively and intercepting the ball and our transition from defence to attack would be phenomenal with either of them dribbling from our half. It would be the same as having a midfield 3 with just them 2 if we actually went with a midfield 3 we could do with a Weigl in there to pick the passes. Can’t see it though it’s too much sense.

Kovacic and Keita would be superb and transform the midfield completely. Tho Coutinho and Keita wouldnt be half bad either.

 

Still, it will not change much unless we bring in a CB and a GK. So thats basically what we should adress foremost.

They’re actually pretty similar in that they’re both comfortable on the ball, good at dribbling, cover ground really well with and without the ball, put their foot in without being defined as a defensive midfielder and create shit loads of chances. One sits and one goes at any one time, they’d be prefect.
