Of all the -ics out there - it seems every club on the continent has at least one or more - is Markovic the £ for pound worst buy in history?

 

I'm not sure I've seen a more confused process than bringing a young player to a massive club for a big fee, almost never play him in his preferred position (or even half of the field, if you like), then loan him out to another country the season after. 

 

The jury is still out with him.

PSV have basically signed the new Suarez, he's 20, he's from Uruguay, and he scored 2 on his first start for them against Ajax, and subsequently has scored a hat-trick in a cup game.

 

And the kicker is, WE had the lad on trial in 2012...
