Divock Origi

Horrible injury with a criminal, career ending intention from the culprit. I assume Origi will undergo further scans and I hope he recovers physically and psychologically from this quickly. People underestimate the damage in confidence this kind of tackles have for the victims. I hope the Club grows a pair of balls and goes after the argentine Mori Cunt, who needs to have his ban extended.

My twitter is full of nonsense like "whew, glad it's just a bad sprain, thought it could be his ligaments."

What do people think a sprain is?  He'll be done for 4 weeks minimum, 6 weeks more than likely.  He's out for the rest of the season, maybe a chunk of the Euros depending on how bad it is and how his recovery goes.  Really hate Funes Mori right now, we're down arguably our two best players (Can and Origi) of the last few months right as we go into the crucial Europa semi-finals.

Origi Carted off After Horror TackleWednesday, April 20As reported by James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo, Origi picked up what appeared to be a serious injury after a nasty tackle from Ramiro Funes Mori: "Worrying times for [Liverpool]. Looks like the end of Origi's season. Must be a major doubt for the Euros.

"Het Laatste Nieuws' Kristof Terreur later stated the diagnosis is a sprained ankle: "First diagnosis: ‘badly-sprained’ ankle. But as always: waiting for scans."...

It all depends on the individual and they can't say it is a bad/medium or normal sprain until they have done a scan, some take longer than others, players have been back a few weeks after a sprained ankle. Let's wait and see what the scans show and the medical assessment first.

Feel so sorry for the lad. Hitting the form of his life just before the Euros, just turned 21 and that yard dog does that.

Make no mistake, he knew what he was doing, to injure a fellow professional. This is where we miss Stevie because you know he would've steamed in and done him later in the game.

in the changing rooms?

What happened him and the way it was perpetrated really takes the shine off the result last night. He is turning into a really good player and has been crucial to our turn around.

Hopefully we can make it to the final and he'll be almost back to fitness.
